Wounded Warrior Project Benefit

at VFW Post 10574

VFW Post 10574, the William I. Cooper Post  will be holding a Wounded Warriors Project benefit

from 1:00 PM to approx 7:00 PM on the 4TH of July 2009.

Kosher Hot Dogs and Half Pound Hamburgers for $1.50 and $3.00 respectively.

The Wounded Warrior Project is a private organization formed with the purpose to

"Honor and Empower Wounded Warriors" of the United States Armed Forces.

Aid directed to soldiers varies quite widely from direct material aid to assistance with rehabilitation,

providing services to attend to the special needs of injured veterans,

building social support networks between different veterans and among their,

raising public awareness of the existence of and issues related to wounded veterans,

and lobbying Congress and participating in the legislative process for the benefit of veterans.
